Overview

A few simple daily habits keep treatment on track and your child comfortable from start to finish.

Good brushing is the foundation — after every meal where possible, taking care to clean above and below each bracket and along the gumline. An interdental brush helps reach the spots a normal toothbrush misses, and flossing daily keeps the gums healthy throughout treatment.

Diet matters too: steering clear of hard, sticky and very sugary foods protects the braces and the teeth underneath. And keeping every check-up appointment means we can adjust treatment and catch anything small before it becomes a problem.

With a little consistency, your child will reach the end of treatment with a smile that’s not just straight, but healthy.
