Overview

Invisalign is a well-known brand of clear aligner treatment — and clear aligners are something we offer at Orthoclinic.

Clear aligners straighten teeth using a series of custom-made, near-invisible removable trays rather than fixed braces. Each tray is worn for a couple of weeks before you move to the next, gradually guiding your teeth into place. Because they’re removable, you take them out to eat and clean your teeth as normal.

Invisalign is just one of several aligner systems. At your consultation we’ll assess whether aligners suit your case and talk you through the options available, so you can make an informed choice. Aligners work best for mild to moderate cases and need to be worn 20–22 hours a day.

For more complex cases, fixed braces may still give the most reliable result — we’ll always recommend what’s genuinely best for your smile.

FAQs

Have a question about what is invisalign??

  • Yes — aligners are removable, so you take them out to eat, drink and clean your teeth. For treatment to stay on track, though, they need to be worn 20–22 hours a day, so they go back in as soon as you’ve finished.
