Braces aren’t the only path to a healthy smile. Depending on your child’s needs, there may be gentler or more discreet options.
For younger children, removable appliances like plates and expanders can guide jaw and tooth development before braces are ever needed — sometimes reducing or removing the need for them later. For older children and teens, clear (ceramic) braces offer the same results as metal with a more discreet look.
The right option depends entirely on what we find at the assessment: the age of your child, how their jaw is developing, and the issues we need to address. We’ll always talk you through the alternatives and recommend the simplest, least invasive approach.
